The TEDxCoconutGrove iOS App connects you to the latest from TEDxCoconutGrove before, during and after the event. View our speaker lineup, watch videos, see Tasting Village menus, and receive important event notifications. TEDxCoconutGrove will challenge its audience to consider the meaning of "Dreams" through the presentation of 10 talented speakers including Miami Theater Center's co-founder Stephanie Ansin, YouTube sensation and motivational coach Dre Baldwin, CEO and founder of Lonesome George & Co Eduardo Balarezo and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sherman Fairchild Professor in Neuroscience Matt Wilson. The talks will explore the theme through a variety of interpretations including imagination, art, change, memory, and spirit. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxCoconutGrove, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxCoconutGrove event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
